Getting on the boat to go out for the ride was the first of the excitement. Then, actually getting on the banana boat and going for the ride was absolutely thrilling. We were able to hold on, for the most part. I’m sure my children will remember this forever! Ages 18, 16 and 11. The captain and deck hand were very friendly and very careful.

My grandchildren ages 9 and 10 wanted to ride the Banana Boat. I was thinking this was going to make my body ache all over for days. I was so wrong!!!!! Shockingly this was super fun and I’m already planning as a must do activity on my next trip to Destin. The operators were very accommodating, informed, and safe. How fast you go is totally up to you. I loved every minute of it and highly recommend.

My friends and I came to Destin, FL for a Bach party. We asked Captain Lance to give us a wild ride, and it was so worth it! All crew members were super nice. My friends even fell off a few times. You can choose between a wild ride or a more calmer one. I would say to bring goggles though as the splashback from the water is intense and and it is hard to keep your eyes open with the salted water.
