The cruise was wonderful! It was the highlight of our NYC trip! Maybe if you could add a package with a bottle of champagne, but still a fantastic experience!

I was disappointed to find out that the waiting staff on the boat automatically charge you a 22% service change on any drinks bought while on board. When I questioned why I had been charged this excess amount when I had not agreed to pay it. I was informed this was a mistake and the money charged in error would be refunded the next day. Sadly this has not happened and I can only assume I was being fobbed off with an excuse while I was on board. I should also point out that you are not able to pay with cash while on board. It was only because my credit card provider notified me of the amount charged that I was aware of this scam.

We visited New York for my wife's 60th Birthday and booked the Bataeux Bew York Dinner Cruise, not many choices of options maybe because it was November. Lovely boat and good music and really wonderfull looking at the sights in the evening which gave a total different experience than going down the river in day light. Slightly tight on seating and we received out main course before our starter ( I think they forgot us so we had to wait a little longer) but food when we actually received it was good and the overall experience was lovely for my wifes 60th. I would say that if you needed a taxi after the cruise there were limited numbers available but this was November so maybe different at other times.
