This is not just a yoga class, it’s an experience! Join us on the iconic beaches of the Big Island of Hawaii, while we use wireless headphones to create an immersive practice that allows you to easily drop in. The use of wireless headphones allows everyone to enjoy the music, hear the instructors, spread out, and enjoy being outside in nature. Being outside in nature allows you to drop into the present moment, as you feel the earth below your feet. We are creating an experience that will tap into your mind, body, and soul, allowing you to feel connected to yourself, our community, mother nature, and the Aloha spirit of Hawaii. What an incredibly peaceful sensory experience! Imagine enjoying all the gifts of yoga while the waves are crashing and warm sun sets on your face. Heather’s focus on breathing and form helped to rejuvenate my soul. This was exactly what I needed and I can’t wait until my next class!

I’ve done yoga for decades! I’ve NEVER done yoga in the beach before Big Island Yoga. Never done a full harvest moon yoga nor done yoga with the music in wireless headphones with the instructor’s voice clearly being heard ! Blocks out all other noise tho I could still feel/ hear the waves on the sand/ volcanic rocks! I even brought my visiting adult daughter who’s never done a class with me anywhere! The beach was gorgeous at night. I’m usually at the ok’d airport beach a bit up the way nightly with my dogs. I was on the middle of the beach with sand everywhere and the full moon above us while the sun set. I am amazed at the difference the wireless headphones make! It makes it an experience! I don’t hear other people, kids, airplanes, etc. The class Heather teaches is amazing. Can be adapted to first timers or old hats like me! Take what you like. Leave the rest she says! I loved it. Wil be a regular!

Such an incredibly relaxing experience with Heather! Full Moon flow is a session offered once a month and it ended right as the sun was setting over the ocean. The headphones provided were so comfortable during poses and Heathers choice of music flowing in the background matched so nicely with the waves crashing near us. Heathers voice and energy was so welcoming, she described each pose with clarity while personally guiding us through some grounded poses. The class was small which I loved! Would highly recommend to anyone, including beginners and full yogis; the intimate atmosphere with the location and warm vibe Heather brings is such a great experience for anyone on the Big Island, visiting or local!
