The tour is a walking tour on public city sidewalks, and is wheelchair accessible
Within a few blocks there are four different parking garages, and several open-air parking lots. The closest garage to our location (just two blocks away) is at 149 Peabody Place between Second Street and BB King Blvd., next to the Hampton Inn. You can try your luck with on-street metered parking, too, on Second Street just south of Beale; on Beale between Front and Second; or along Peabody Place from Front to Fourth Street.

This walking tour of Beale street was excellent. Shannon was our guide and it was obvious that she loves Memphis. In fact, she told us that she is a native and loves her city! It was so interesting learning about Beale Street. Shannon shared her knowledge of This famous street with the same enthusiasm as a friend that wants to show you their special finds in their city when you come to visit. It was fascinating and fun. Highly recommend!
