The views and photos were amazing and what made this trip. You get all the photos taken by the tour guide sent to your phone. The lunch was a cold vegetable sandwich no chips or anything else. So, do not expect much for the meal. It says max of 8 people, but we had 11 people in our van.

This is an awesome tour. We went up with Hiro who we cannot fault, he even completed the trip in two languages to accommodate everyone. The trip to the summit was fairly long, but Hiro shared so much knowledge with us that it felt like no time at all. He advised us on how to stay safe and get the most out of our trip. The summit itself was spectacular, the views, the telescopes, the arid landscape that looked like something from Mars. The sunset was amazing and seemed to go on forever, with the telescopes in the foreground, making for incredible photos for keen photographers. Followed by some of the best star gazing we've ever experienced. Hiro had jackets and even snow pants to keep us warm, along with hot chocolate tea. A truly amazing experience, we would highly recommend.

What an amazing trip! Our guide and driver were fantastic, took our comfort and safety seriously, and the trip was more than advertised just for the privilege of experiencing a sunset beyond description and learning more about the history and culture of Hawaiā€™i. The second half of the night involving star gazing was equally fantastic! Wes really knows his stuff and our family learned a lot and we are so grateful that this was something we could experience and enjoy. We all gained a better appreciation for the majestic beauty that is Hawaiā€™i and have amazing photos now to always remember this trip. We 100% recommend this experience, and canā€™t thanks Wes and our driver enough for making this adventure a great family memory!
