I selected this company because they included insulated pants at the top of Mauna Kea and we don’t love being very cold. That occurred and really helped. In addition, they were careful in communicating about optimal weather and visibility at the summit, convenient rendezvous points, COVID precautions, and then very patient with star watching, allowing the clouds to part over a bit of time, then using a good astronomy app and a laser pointer to make sense of the constellations. After that they took good pictures of us all with the starry nighttime lapse photography— a great memory. I have to let folks know that see them that we actually saw what is there, it’s not a tourist Green screen mock up! The meal was good, we felt safe and taken care of . Wes and Shoyo were comfortable with each of us and made us informed without talking too much. They were welcoming to all of us very different people.
