This tour was a highlight of my trip to NYC. Having being to NYC a few times before I had visited most of the main attractions in Manhattan and had being to a few other places on Long Island but I never really got to visit any of the other city boroughs. With this tour you defintely get to see a different side of New York and are exposed to a wide range of cultures via the food.
The tour guide Isaac really knew his history and had many intresting facts about how the city has changed and how the different foods tie into the different cultures that make NYC what it is. Also it was great to see Brooklyn, it is a really residential area with not many high rise buildings, has a much slow pace to it yet it is only a twenty minute subway ride away and you can get some great views of Manhattan from some of the parks.
I would recommend this to anyone, first time visitor or serial visitor like myself, you won't be disappointed and will discover a lot.

Was a great tour. Lots of different types of foods to taste. No-one was hungry at the end. Saw great sights & had a great tour guide in Isaac. Highly recommend taking this tour.

A really great tour. There was only 5 of us so Issac the guide drove us in a limo, which was a nice touch. We started off in the west village, visited an original Jewish deli in the lower east side which served Knishes delicious potato treats. We then headed into Brooklyn which was amazing, completely different to Manhattan. We tried an amazing Polish restaurant in Greenpoint and the food was so tasty. We then tried Jacques Torres chocolate shop in DUMBO and sunset park the cuban area where we tried a delicious cuban sandwich. It was so amazing to see real New York and the less touristy side to it. Brooklyn is an amazing place that cannot be missed. We also passed through the orthodox Jewish area which was like stepping back in time. Seeing all the different areas and ethnicities was fantastic. Manhattan doesnt ahve the same feel but in Brooklyn you get a real sense of the different cultures and ethnic groups which makes NYC so unique and interesting. One tip: this tour involves lots of food so eat very light in the morning! Its so great to taste all the different foods so you can experience the culture through all your different senses. Issac was great, a friendly knowledgable native New Yorker hailing from Brooklyn and this was a fabulous tour where we met some really nice people.
