Best of Brooklyn Half-Day Food and Culture, Bus and Walking Tour

Overview
The new culinary center of the Big Apple, where food and dining trends are dispersed to the rest of the country, is Brooklyn. And with this half-day tour, you can take a big bite out of it. From old ethnic enclaves to the latest hipster 'hoods, Brooklyn's dining scene is both diverse and cutting edge. Munch pierogies in Polish-dominated Greenpoint and hip farm-to-table fare in Williamsburg. A good way to spend an afternoon so as to overcome the jetlag. Booked it last minute. Good half day tour of Brooklyn. Good choices are varied and the storytelling was authentic.

Great tour guide. We enjoyed the narration very much. Food was great too. The weather was hot but the bus had AC.

Our trip started with our tour guide Laurie having us introduce ourselves, which is uncomfortable for most, but ended up being the best ice breaker. By allowing us to learn a bit about each other, conversations started quickly and some of us even ended up having acquaintances in common. This was our first food tour, and it did not disappoint. We had a variety of foods as we ate our way through the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, from pierogis to pizza. Laurie was fantastic and gave us a great history of Brooklyn from its beginnings to today. Somehow sharing food with others seems more intimate and familial, and by the end we felt like weā€™d not just gone on a tour but made friends along the way. This tour was a great way to spend an afternoonā€¦donā€™t miss it!
