What To Expect

Kualoa Ranch

Established in 1850, Kualoa is a 4,000-acre (1,619-hectare) working cattle ranch that extends from the rugged mountains down to the ocean. The terrain includes dense rain forest, open valleys and white-sand beaches. Many areas of this natural paradise can be reached only on foot, horseback or all-terrain vehicle. You may even recognize the scenery as Kualoa Ranch has served as a set for Hollywood movies such as Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor and Godzilla, and TV shows like Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I. and Lost.

This package is well worth the money. Staff is great and very knowledgeable about the ranch history. So many great views. Who knew so many movies have been filmed on the ranch. Be prepared that the jungle tour can get a little bumpy so if you have a very bad back chances are that one isn't for you. If you are in the area this is a must do tour!! We also used the transportation pick up from our hotel in Waikiki and it worked out perfectly. Thank you so much to the ranch staff you made this tour perfect.

Husband and I had experienced a couple of tours, we also had the buffet package. The food was ok. The whole tour though was fantastic, staff was entertaining and very helpful. Overall had a great time, highly recommend.
