This tour was superb. It lived up to all the great reviews! Our tour guide, Corrie, was so personable, kind and knowledgeable. She was a fantastic story teller with wonderful sense of humor, great attention to all the guests and really went the extra mile" for all of us. We had a blast!

We're life-long residents of (mostly eastern) PA but, somehow, never explored the great city of Pittsburgh. We're so happy that this week we chose the Best of the Burgh Walking Tour to do just that! Equally glad that our tour guide was a friendly, funny & knowledgeable young man named Kane. (Be sure to request him, if you can!) Our tour with him was great. He shared an endless amount of interesting information with us that painted a vivid picture of Pittsburgh's past history. We learned about the important role that George Washington played (when he was only 21) as a surveyor and that it was his recommendation that it's key location along the 3 rivers that made it an excellent placement for a fort. We also heard a great description of the roles of the steel industry and Henry Frick in shaping the local history. If you sign up for this walking tour YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
