If youā€™re visiting Pittsburgh, I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Rachel, was excellent. She is knowledgeable about the history of the city and has a personal perspective as she grew up here. She was very careful with social distancing and paced the tour by checking in with us regularly. Rachel gave us a thorough, local history lesson that included colonization and the African-American experience. She even made recommendations for the rest of our day!!! It made our one day visit to Pittsburgh fun and productive.

When other tour companies were closed, Walk the Burgh Tours was able to provide this learning experience to many guests wanting to learn more about Pittsburgh. We were fortunate to come to Pittsburgh during our sixth year anniversary and reserve a spot for their walking tour. Even prior to our arrival, Valentina was able to provide excellent customer service, quick responses to inquiries and really went above and beyond to make that we all the information that we needed. Corrie was our designated tour guide and she is definitely a living encyclopedia. Her love for her history clearly shows as we learned so much from her for the period of time we spent in the walking tour. All safety precautions were considered prior and during the walking tour experience, so we both felt more than safe doing this tour outdoors. If you really want to truly connect to this wonderful city, I would highly recommend booking a tour with Walk the Burgh Tours directly. We highly recommend it and will be taking part of the next tours available through their website.

Tory was a great guide. We have lived here for most of our lives and still learned a ton. She does a great job of talking about the history of the steel industry and how it formed our awesome city.
