I have lived in this area for 35 years so I feel like a Pittsburgher! We learned so much about the history of this city that we never knew. We went into buildings that we pass daily but never really noticed. This was a great tour for tourists and natives alike!

I lived in Pittsburgh for many years before moving to NYC, so I wasn't expecting to learn many new things I hadn't heard before in this tourā€¦ I was wrong. Our wonderful guide Pam gave us a whole new appreciation for Pittsburgh's architecture, along with the perfect mix of historic information about the city and juicy details about the lives of the industrialists who shaped that history (Carnegie, Frick, etc.). Pam was fun, energetic, knowledgeable and willing to customize the tour based on the interests of the attendees. The duration and walking distance were also spot on, with everyone fully engaged from beginning to end. This is a wonderful tour for visitors. But is also a marvelous way for locals to spend an afternoon with friends, before heading back to the speakeasy at the Omni William Penn - which is a very interesting part of the tour! Highly recommended for everyone!!
