Mel at the booking agency and Corey our tour guides were class acts and absolute dolls! She is a history teacher and an attorney in the city. Not only does she exude great pride in her city but she went to law school at the University of Pitt. On this tour you learn a lot about the philanthropists who gave so much to build this city, the Carnegie-Melon and U Pitt Campuses, and the History of Forbes Field. I learned that Pitt isn't just a blue collar steel town but rather a city that is renown for their cutting-edge medical research and surgical innovations.

Took a fantastic tour today with Walk the Burgh. Learned so many new things and saw the history of wonderful Pittsburgh. I've lived in the area for years but it was fun to see new and old places and the history they hold. Would recommend to anyone.
