The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Masks are optional in Grand Teton National Park, but still mandatory in Yellowstone National Park. Guests and guides will be required to comply with federal policies in place.

I have NEVER drafted a review of anything online. No clothing purchases, no bad airline flights, and no prior tours of any type. It took me 5 minutes to locate how to go online and complete this review, so trust me, this review is the most honest you will read: We went through a Jackson Hole "concierge" company to help assist in scheduling tours and fun things for my family to do upon arrival. We are a family of 5, with ages ranging from parents, together with a 12, 9, and 5 year old. Flew from Florida, and were not sure of what to expect. The concierge company directed me to the Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari company. boy, were they right! Jeff Meehan was our tour guide, and his professional demeanor was incredible from the very start. Greeting my children early in the morning with a smile, some laughter, and morning snacks was a benefit (tours with this company started from 6:30-7am). I have NEVER met a more knowledgeable individual regarding wildlife, history, the State of Wyoming, National Parks, etc. National Geographic needs to interview this man for additional information. My family continuously called him "Wikipedia" because of his thorough discussions and wealth of knowledge. He was courteous towards our questions (and our sheer ignorance of the vast wildlife), and he thoroughly explained every aspect on the tour (from seeds and types of vegetation, to stone and rock, to animal and insect, etc.) This guy was amazing! Now, if you want to discuss the tour company itself, I can advise that they are overwhelmingly accommodating. If you ask, you shall receive. This isn't a company that simply hires any person to drive a van/SUV and talk while traveling. These guides are extremely knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. They provide facts, fun stories, and added information that one would never expect to receive. Jeff, though, surpasses ALL others, as this man can make you want to move, and hibernate with the animals. If you are looking for a great company to provide a tour of Teton National Park/Yellowstone National Park/hiking tours/etc, please do not hesitate to use JHWildlife Safaris. They are the absolute BEST! Our experience was amazing...not just good or great. From booking, to scheduling, to types of transportation, provided food/snacks, information and sights on tour, and the professionalism from start to finish, this company should surpass all other competition. And, when you book your tour...do you yourself a favor, and request Jeff Meehan as your tour guide. I am blown away by this individual, and his vast knowledge of information. I would give this company, and our experience, 100 stars if I could!

This tour was absolutely amazing! From start to finish the tour exceeded expectations. Whitney our tour guide was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and a joy to spend an entire day. This company and their guides are top notch. Highly recommended!

This tour was booked for us through our hotel and it exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to have Dave as our very knowledgeable and friendly guide for our day in Yellowstone. We were able to see every feature we wanted to on the south loop and spotted wildlife as well. They include good binoculars so you can spot wildlife and scenery from any distance. It was well worth it and the most important thing is that you do not have to do the driving!!
