I planned a surprise helicopter tour for my gf’s birthday. We arrived at 6:30 waiting on the host to come. Our tour was supposed to start at 7pm, after waiting until 7:30 the lady working there told us to give them a call. When I called at first the lady on the phone acted like she didn’t know about my booking. She then told me that they canceled all the tours due to weather. I wasn’t notified of any cancellation via Viator or Prime Atlanta Helicopters. She then asked did we want to reschedule and at that point I requested a refund to which she found my booking rather swiftly after acting as if she didn’t see it at first. The whole surprise was ruined! We drove from Augusta so it was an almost 5 hour drive there and back for absolutely no reason. A total waste of time and they did not care. Completely ruined her whole birthday surprise!

While we do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you, we wish you would have expressed your concerns on the phone call where you were given a choice of a refund or reschedule due to weather. On your tour date September 9th it was cloudy and light rain in the area, which caused all tours to be rescheduled. On the phone call you were asked "how did you book your tour?" (Which tells the representative what site whether directly or through third party the tour was purchased) Viator is a third party of ours and although they send confirmations to their customer Miscommunication can happen with the tour getting to our schedule, we do apologize as we noticed it was just booked within 48 hours. We wish we could have made your experience happen but At the time the refund was requested/given with no rebuttal. While we are sorry we could not have the chance to provide your helicopter ride we do hope you will allow us to serve you on a better weather day so we may earn a review on the experience we provide.
