To receive your Alcatraz Island Ticket you must check into the Big Bus office (on voucher) one day prior to the Alcatraz Tour date or before 9am on the date of your Alcatraz Tour.

The big bus and Alcatraz were both great. I loved getting right to the top of the bus for the best view and the audio tour was awesome.

We got 1 day premium pass that included the day and night bus tours and it was a great way to see the city. The day tour is about 2 hours round trip and the night tour about 1 hour round trip. The day route is slightly different to the night route. The day route goes over the Golden Gate Bridge and the night route over the Bay Bridge. However, I suggest to wrap up warm for the night tour as the Bay Bridge is a long drive and although we visited in August the temperature dropped considerably in the evening together with the wind through the bay, it was cold. Be warned !! The Big Bus tour staff were all very helpful to explain both tours to help you make your decision. They will always look to offer discounts on the ticket prices as well so don't just pay the full price. We secured a 20% reduction.

Staff was very helpful. Clear view of all San Francisco. Easy to see the sights. Bus arrives every 30 minutes
