To receive your Alcatraz Island Ticket you must check into the Big Bus Visitor Center one day prior to the Alcatraz Tour date, or before 9am on the date of your Alcatraz Tour.

Please note that the date you have selected is the date for your Alcatraz Tour.
Your tour time will be assigned 5 days in advance of the tour date. Once a time is assigned we are not able to make any changes, please note your timed entry will be allocated by Alcatraz this will not be able to be personally selected
Hop-on Hop-off tour ticket is valid during operating hours for 48 hours after first use.

We booked San Francisco big bus tour together with night tour and Sausalito tour!! Highly recommend the big bus tour as it takes you to all the hot spots of San Fran. Highlight of this tour was the night tour with the english tour guide, Suzanna!!! She was really informative as well as funny and entertaining. The humour took the edge away from the cold, windy night!!!! Do not miss the night tour as you can see amazing view from Treasure Island of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridge lit up! Absolutely breathe taking views. Bus ride on the top of the open bus on Bay bridge is an experience, on a cokd, windy night. The day tour takes you to all the major tourist sites. Again open top bus ride on Golden gate bridge is an experience! I didn't know Big Bus tour operates in all major cities and would definitely use them again on our next city break!

The bus was great for our 13 year old grandson. Outdoor, wind in his hair, educational and fun for his first visit to SF. Given the difficulty of securing tickets to Alcatraz, the combo package was very helpful. We have taken big bus tours in major cities in Europe and Asia and always enjoy them. Alcatraz was eye opening for us and a young person who is learning about life.
