Bus app doesn’t work & zero customer service. Don’t bother buying a ticket even the tickets were never checked.

1) We had just missed the bus leaving from the Willard Hotel (stop 10) and were told another bus would be by in 20 minutes. It ended up being much longer than that, enough time for us to buy and consume drinks and desserts at the restaurant just outside the Willard. 2)Once onboard, when we got to the Spy Museum, we all had to get off of the bus to get on another one in front of us. No explanation. We boarded and sat in the hot sun for at least 20 minutes. Again, no explanation. 3) When we got to the Vietnam stop, the bus either broke down or got stuck in a ditch… the wheels were screeching as the driver tried to get the bus going. After about 15 minutes of that, we decided to get off and walk back to the Willard. Just an overall disappointing trip. I gave it two stars because the two Big Bus guys at the Willard, Dustin and Ramon (?), we’re very pleasant.

We were excited to tour around dc and we have had good experiences in the past on the hop on hop off busses, however this was not the case. Due to a bike race ( which I am sure was scheduled long in advance) the routes and stops were changed. We were not notified of this. We walked to the first stop only to find out that we had to walk to another stop about a mile away. Some other riders paid Ubers to get to the first stop, at least we were walking. Once on the bus, the audio was music 99% of the time. Very little explanation of the areas we were in. It was very disappointing. It also started an hour late and the low hanging branches on the upper deck were dangerous.
