Find another bus, there are other options!! We bought the 2 day pass for Memorial Weekend since we wanted to make the most of our trip. What a mistake!! 1. We waited for almost an hour in one of the stops with no explanation. 2. Hopped on what we thought was the red bus but turned out to be a different tour! It wasn’t following any of the of the 3 options that were on the brochure. 3. No tour guide. We paid for a tour guide and what we got was music. 4. Tried to get on the bus at 4:45 and we were told that the day tours ended and we couldn’t get on. Horrible experience, a waste of money, no communication, horrible customer service.

Hey Julie, I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your touring experience with us. Our frequencies are every 20-30 minutes however, traffic can be very hectic in our Nations Capitol and we try our hardest to maneuver around it and sometimes we do not succeed. During Memorial weekend we had major detours due to the rolling thunder bike rally and Memorial day parade. Also, tour guides are given depending on the route taken. Very easy way to see the sites. Avoided all the traffic. This route took us by the Tidal Basin while the cherry blossom’s were in full bloom.

There are some positive things to say about this tour as well as some not so positive. First the positive- the tour takes you by or at least very close to all the major attractions in DC. On the buses with guides, the ones we had were friendly, animated and knowledgeable. The stops were conveniently located. Now the negative- it was 90 degrees the day of our tour and the buses do not have air conditioning! Not all the buses had guides. A couple of times the buses were full and we had to wait for the next one.
