The first bus we got on, they said the audio wasn't working so we should get on the next bus. That one was already full, so we took an Uber. The second bus we planned to take did not display on the app, but showed up after about 15 minutes. There was no sign where it was supposed to stop. We got on and it took us one stop and told us we all had to get off and get on the bus in front. We took another cab. It would have been more fun and less costly and annoying just walking around and taking Ubers when we felt like it. There would have also been much less waiting around. A complete waste of $240! There is not even anywhere to sit while you're waiting for the buses! Don't waste your money.

Tourist trap. Usually im.pretty good at spotting these. I got hosed. I bought the 2 day ticket for two people thinking these ran pretty often. They don't. I stood at several stops thr first day like an idiot and didn't see 1. I ended up taking the circulator for 1$ and saw 90% of the sights I got stuck in the pouring rain waiting for a bus thay I guess dosent run woth bad weather. So the second day comes and I complained to the company and viator ans they said they would look into it. While I was riding a bike around the Washington monument I actually saw said bus. I ran and caught it with my boyfriend and luckily it was going to Arlington I took it there and back. It was hot. Over packed and the history they play over the headphones is a simple Google search away. I didn't see anything different then the 1$ bus I took the pervious day and there was GOOD strong AC. Usually im.not one to write bad reviews but since I used it the one ride viator was unable to refund me and its what ever but the fact that the other bus that brings u all the same places is 1$ I'll try and save someone who is a tourist the $.

The highlight of this tour was the agent who sold us our tickets (Lena). She was amazing and gave us tips before we got on the bus, and even got after we boarded to make sure we were set. She was the best part of the experience. There was no audio commentary - all we heard as music on channel 1 and nothing on other channels. The route basically took us up and down the same streets and buses were so infrequent we hated to get off at a stop and lose more of our day waiting. And by the end of the day there were so many waiting that we didnā€™t always make that same bus. I would not take this tour again.
