Hilo

Rainbow Falls

This 80-foot falls plunges over a natural lava cave and into the Wailuku River below. On a sunny day, rainbows appear in the mist of the falls, making for a magical view.

Akaka Falls State Park

This towering 442-foot (135-meter) waterfall plummets into a lush ravine at the center of a state park. You’ll enjoy a short walk through the vegetation for an up close view and plenty of photo ops.

Waipi'o Valley

The views stop you in your tracks at the Waipio Valley lookout, where a dramatic backdrop of lush cliffs drops into the sparkling blue ocean

Parker Ranch

Driver through the scenic green pasture of Parker Ranch, home of the Hawaiian cowboys and one of the largest ranches in the US.

Its an excellent tour to see the whole of Big island in one day. And the tour guide he ry was excellent. He had great knowledge of the history of hawaii and big island . A great orator and hilarious person. Tour includes most of the great attractions.

A friend and our daughters (ages 6 and 8) had the pleasure of doing a group sightseeing tour with Wasabi Tours over MLK weekend. The guide, Kona Chris, was high-energy, friendly, and incredibly knowledgable. (For nearly 12 hours! I have no idea how he does it, but he's such a pro.) The tour itself is well coordinated and timed. We were amazed by how many sites we covered in just one day without feeling rushed. We were never on the bus for too long, and the time flew with Chris sharing information and answering questions along the way. My daughter often gets carsick, and she was completely fine on the journey (even sitting in the back of the van!) It was so nice to have snacks, water, lunch, and even car seats included, so we didn't have to worry about any extra logistics. All that said, it was a long day. I would not recommend this tour for younger kids.

Amazing tour! We were able to see all the main highlights of the big island from the black sand beaches to the volcano. It was a great experience. Brett was a great guide and provided information about the various sites and history about Hawaii! Highly recommended!
