Overview

Botanical World's Zip Line is the most exciting zipline in Hawaii and possibly the world. With 8 lines gradually building to the last two that are dual side-by-side zips to share with a friend. The Grand Finale is over a huge 330 foot (100 meter) gorge with a 250 foot (76 meters) waterfall. Our Zip Isle zip Line Adventure is the longest operating zip line on the Big Island operating since 2009 with an unblemished safety record. With each of the 8 zip lines the excitement builds as the lines get longer as you continue to be thrilled. The amazing views from the suspension bridge will give a story to tell of true Hawaii as you pass the HUGE mango tree hundreds of years old that may have seen Kamehameha walking along the rapids of the stream gorge below. Your guides share the many secrets of the plants, let you taste fruits and spices and relay the history of this unique setting in the rain forest.

Beautiful rainforest ziplining. Our guides (Pono and Dovi) were enthusiastic (CHIIII-HOOOOO!!!! YASSA BLESSA!!) and knowledgeable about the native plants and other fun facts. There were 8 ziplines in total plus a fun suspension bridge, the last zip being the tallest/longest and over a beautiful waterful. Some ziplines were dual and you could race with a friend. Our guides made us feel very safe and were very patient with one in our group who was very, very nervous but successfully completed all 8 zips! We tried to do the Segway but the rain was coming down way too hard so we had to give up on that. We zipped in the AM and it was only a little bit of slight rain and we all had a great time!

I went with my family and this helped me get over my fear of heights. The bridge part was a bit scary, but I made it through. The rest was literally a breeze. It is so fluid and smooth you don't even realize you are up high and it is just breathtaking. Each line is literally over before you have time to get scared. Kids can tandem zip if they are over 4. Mine were a little older and able to do it on their own. They only have room for 2 tandems per adventure so just be aware of that. Awesome waterfall at the end.

It was our first zipline experience and we had a great time! I'm terrified of heights and our guides were so understanding and caring. They had me feeling comfortable and safe in no time. The scenery was breathtaking. I highly recommend Big Island Zipline Adventure!
