I've done zipling previously and this was one of the least exciting zipline excursions. The guides were terrific but only two of the ziplines were great - the others were hot and boring (going through fields, not lush rain forest).

Two visiting cousins from overseas and I (a resident) chose this tour as it seemed to have all the features we were hoping for: working up to the "big" lines, tropical scenery, safety, and something that we "over 50s" could handle. This choice with Andrew and Rob as our guides did not disappoint. They were funny, charming, well-informed, and attentive to our comfort. There was also a family with younger members in our group and thanks to Andrew and Rob, all of us were confident with the lines. It's an activity that is well worth the cost and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

Our guides Gabe and Jack were funny, informative and very entertaining. You could tell they enjoyed their jobs. The 15 minute van ride up to the first zip line was a little bumpy but we survived (we did have safety helmets on)! It had been a few years since we last went ziplining but the first line was a practice line and was not intimidating at all. From the first line we hiked to each following line, the guides taught us about some of the native plants and offered smells of Allspice and Lemongrass along the way. As we went from line to line each line was a little longer, a little higher and in my opinion a little more fun. We learned new Hawaiian words because each line is named for something in Hawaiian. They had little snacks at most of the lines, bunches of apple bananas, which are these cute mini bananas, and we even tried some fresh sugar cane, which was very interesting. Did you know it takes 4 feet of Sugar cane stalk to make a packet of sugar?
