We booked this tour immediately after doing a zip line tour on Oahu because we fell in love with zip lining and figured zip lining over a waterfall would be awesome! It seemed a bit expensive ($397.69) for two of us but we figured what the heck it’s a once in a lifetime trip. The staff at check in were friendly and our guides did a good job. The zip lines themselves were underwhelming aside from the final zip line over the big waterfall. The first one honestly seemed like a joke. You will spend a lot of time walking and waiting for others as there is only one line at each stop. On the other tour we did we were taught different positions to zip for speed, getting upside down and other tricks, not so on this one. For the nearly $200/per person some photos of the experience on the zip lines not just at the waterfall at the end would’ve been greatly appreciated, it’s not an option. Once again, our guides were good. It is however frustrating that I assume they are not paid well and at the end of the tour they pushed hard for tips, it seems the large fee goes into owners pockets rather than paying staff well. I’m not against tipping, I am however for paying staff a high enough wage when charging about 200/pp for a two hour activity that the staff doesn’t need to beg for a tip further increasing the already expensive cost. On the whole it’s fine if it’s your very first zip line and your afraid of heights, the staff are very pleasant but clearly are not paid enough which is very disappointing given the high cost.

Aloha,
Thank you for leaving this review.
Our Zipline courses ranges from easy to thrilling and we cater to all experience levels - one of the Ziplines goes over our private 250ft Kolekole waterfall - how cool is that!
Our zipline tour is actually one of the least expensive on the island, as we try to keep our costs down as much as possible for our customers. After being closed for 14 months due to the pandemic, it was important for us to have a price that is very competitive, but also is able to cover our high operation costs.
I can see why you might assume our staff does not get paid well because they are allowed one tasteful tip line at the end of their tour, which is also industry standard, but your assumption is incorrect. Our guides get paid a highly competitive rate compared to other companies on Hawaii Island and taking care of our staff is one of our top priorities.
We hope you have a lovely remainder of your holiday and that you visit us on your next adventure to Hawaii!
