On The Family Friendly Bighorn Sheep Canyon you will encounter exciting rapids such as Wake Up, 3 Rocks, Spikebuck, Sharks Tooth and many more. You will also encounter tranquil and calm stretches of river in between rapids. Enjoy the magnificent scenery while watching for many of the Bighorn Sheep that make this canyon home.

Royal Gorge Zip Line Tours

We visited these fine folks on vacation with our 7 year old son, and wanted to find something family friendly, but still exciting. So glad we found Royal Gorge Rafting and Zip alone Tours. We did the Big Horn Sheep 1:30 rafting tour. We had Annie on the bus ride over and she was hilarious and very entertaining. Our guide, Danny, who used to be a swimmer at Florida State University (so you are in great hands), was fantastic with the kids and very skilled guide. I ended up getting tossed out of the boat in the middle of a class III rapid, and he was “Johnny On The Spot” with helping me and getting me back to safety. If you are in Canon City/Colorado Springs area, traveling with smaller children (At least 6 years of age) and are looking for a great white water boatin’ (As Annie would say) adventure, then these are your guys and gals!

Tristen and Jerika did an amazing job with our family zip line excursion. The experience is one we will never forget, and they helped make it perfect. (Literally perfect). Jared was our guide for the rafting portion. I can’t say how much I appreciated the excellent experience he provided. Friendly, insightful, and in complete command of our crew, the Rice family won’t soon forget the wonderful trip. We are considering coming back during this same vacation because of the staff and experience. Worth every penny and then some.

Had a great experience with our raft guide Jared. The 9 zip line course was more enjoyable than I expected. Maddie, Ben, Eric, and Taylor took care of us!
