Bike and Brew Tour

Overview

Join a knowledgeable local tour guide who will guide you safely through downtown Denver's most important and relevant tourist sights including historic buildings, architectural masterpieces, professional sports stadiums, scores of public art installations, parks and outdoor venues. Tours go out daily. Groups are small, 2-16 people with a tour guide to guest ratio of 1:8. Duration of tour is 3 hours and approximately 9 miles. TOWARDS THE END OF THE TOUR WE WILL STOP AT A TAP ROOM WHERE GUESTS CAN SAMPLE BEER FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY AT A SLIGHT DISCOUNT. THIS STOP IS APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES IN LENGTH AND THEN WE HEAD BACK TO THE SHOP. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN BEER TABS. Minors are welcome to join their parents on the patio and have a soda and snack! E-bikes are available on a limited basis.

We are outside, socially distancing on bicycles. A mask is only required to come into the shop to use the bathroom. You will want to bring a mask with you if/when you get off to go into Union Station or REI to use the bathroom or if you're stopping at the tap room for beer.

Our family enjoyed doing this tour on our first full day in Denver. It was a great way to see the sites and get a lay of the city. The tour guides were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend taking a tour with Mile High Bike Tours

What a perfect October day for biking! Our guide, Justin, safely led us to multiple places throughout downtown Denver. The ride was mostly flat with a few hills by the Cherry Creek trail. We enjoyed all of the sites and the opportunity to have a broader view of the city at the beginning of our trip. Justin did a wonderful job of explaining the significance of the different stops and allowed time for us to also enjoy the different locations. My mother-in-law joined us on the bike ride and was nervous she would not be able to keep up. She chose an e-bike for the ride and had no problem staying with the group. For those concerned about their stamina for a longer bike ride, this is an excellent option. Our family has been on multiple bike tours in different cities across the country. If this is something you enjoy doing as a family, or are interested in trying something new, I would recommend Mile High Bike Tours in Denver. My only feedback to the company would be to suggest Mile High ask for the heights of the riders prior to the tour. There were two people that were not able to join us because they did not have bikes available in their size. Otherwise everything met or exceeded our expectations for the tour.

We loved this tour! Nice mix of history and fun facts but also biking/enjoying the highlights of the city. It’s perfect way to see the city too.
