A very sad reminder of the violence that occurred during the Civil Rights Movement but something that should never be forgotten. Excellent tour guide!

Hey Mandy, Thanks for the kind words. The tour is sad, but we are glad you came out and experienced the history of Birmingham, for better or worse. Regrads, Clay

Did this tour with Clay and my wife. History is my wife’s thing but I spent 3 hours listening to Clay and learned more about the history of civil rights during this tour than I did years ago in school. Clays knowledge and the way he explained everything was engaging and entertaining. So much so that I would return here with my children to have them take the tour from Clay so they could learn. If you’re on the fence about taking this tour don’t be. Book it. Learn from an interesting guy. Walk away smarter with book recommendations that are worth it.

Hey Kelly, We want to thank y'all for joining us on a Red Clay Tour. There are a lot of other things to do in the city and we appreciate y'all taking a chance on our Civil Rights Tour. We would love to have your kids back to do the tour again. We've had several groups bring family back to do more tours with us. Thanks, Clay

Clay is an amazing guide as he tells the story of the Civil rights movement in Birmingham from the 1930s through the 1960s. He knows his stuff!!! And he takes you into parts of Birmingham that tourists seldom visit -- though the should if they want to really understand Birmingham. This tour is just as good (if not better) than tours I have taken in Europe and Latin America. I cannot recommend it highly enough.,
