Overview

You are privateers making your fortune on the high seas. You have been given a Letter of Marque from the King to capture the notorious pirate, Edward Teach, also known as Blackbeard, and seize his ship and all his stolen treasures. But when you finally track Blackbeard down, things don’t go as planned – rather than capturing him, you’re the ones locked in the brig. You have one hour to escape the brig, take over the ship, and sail to safety with Blackbeard’s treasure before he returns to make you walk the plank.

This was our second visit to Escape Works Denver and once again we so enjoyed our visit. Our Game a master was Shores and he was awesome, he made sure we understood everything and had a great personality. This time we just did one room, Black Beard Brig, there was just four of us this time and it was fun and entertaining. We won. We I’ll be back again. Thanks for the great time!

The puzzles were tricky, but clever. The one or two spots that caused some confusion were easily enough sorted out by consulting the Captain's Parrot!

The escape room was an absolute blast! The decorations were amazing and Tobi was so fun and an awesome person! I will definitely be coming back here again!
