Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessel is the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessel is custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms. The Vessels are equipped with state of the art navigation and fish finding equipment.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

I would say this was an excellent experience. The mates were on top of everything. Very friendly and we were near fish the whole time.. I caught two which I had cooked at a local bar, which were delicious. Missed a few others due to sharks getting them first. But overall, a perfect 4 hours.

Great fun! Enjoyable experience! Captain Richie and Captain Sean made us feel welcome on the boat. They hustled to make sure everyone has the help they need with lots of patience and a positive attitude! Looking forward to another trip when my wife and I return to the area in January for our 20 year anniversary!!

My wife and I had so much fun. The boat only had 11 people but the crew took us out anyway. The crew was awesome and we caught a lot of fish. I will be back soon.
