Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessel is the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessel is custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms. The Vessels are equipped with state of the art navigation and fish finding equipment.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

What an incredible day! Staff was awesome and I caught a fish of a lifetime (black fin tuna)! I highly recommend Miss Blue Heron if you are at all interested in deep sea fishing!!

Went bottom fishing with these guys and was SO impressed! Our party of 4 was so pleased with the attentiveness of the crew, and laughed the entire time. The guys were super witty, helpful and on top of their game! We never went without fresh bait and left with 5 fish in the cooler. Needless to say, I’d highly recommend and will be back the next time I’m on Singer Island!

AJ and Sean were awesome. There was only 7 or 8 of us and I know they need 10 people to go out but they decided to go out anyways. We crushed the lane snappers and caught a few nice yellowtail and a few big mutton snappers. I’ve been going on this boat for about 10 years and always have a blast. Highly recommend it to beginners and avid fishermen. If you lose your rig or bait they have you back in the water in less than a minute.
