Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessel is the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessel is custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms. The Vessels are equipped with state of the art navigation and fish finding equipment.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

Capt. Johnny and crew are extremely accomadating. They are very engaging with a customers which is fun and enjoyable. One of the best charters I've been on.

This Crew definitely gets more than 5 stars, Captain Johnny and his crew were the most outgoing professional and knowledgeable group of people. They were hands on and very patient with everyone even us rookies, they know all the hot spots for fish. We will back! Thanks Captain!

The crew was great and they did all they could to take care of us and make us feel welcome. The fishing was slow but everyone in the family caught a fish. Fishing can be that way sometimes. I would have liked a small snack bar on board to at least buy a bottle of water and maybe some packaged snacks. If that was added, I would give them a 5 star. Everything was as clean as a fishing boat could be. Thank you for an enjoyable trip.
