Driver was great! (Sean) Very patient and accommodating with older couple who had mobility issues. Very good at telling us about Charleston sites without sounding at all like it was all memorized. Extremely hot day but otherwise a perfect adventure to a working plantation. The house tour guide could have had more knowledge of the antiques and artwork in the rooms. Gullah theatre was great!

Got the Boone Hall Tour + City Tour. The City Tour was okay but too bad the guide spoke too fast so I couldn’t pick up most of what he was saying. I don’t think the combo is worth the price because Boone component of it is just providing a ride. It doesn’t come with a tour guide. Also, I think 3 hrs is not enough time to be able to see all there is to see at the plantation. If this is the only way, then the schedule should align with the timed shows/tours at Boone, otherwise folks will just end up seeing one or two things before it’s time to leave.

The Gullah presentation should not be missed. The presentations were extremely interesting giving you deep insights into the past. The sweet grass demonstrations are fascinating, Beautiful hand made pieces of art. SEAN, the transportation tour guide also provided information about Charleston enroute .
