I was expecting more than we got. For the cost to get in you really do not get your money's worth in my opinion. The approach is beautiful, but the house tour is only around the first floor and you cannot access the second floor since it is still in use. There are several slave cabins there with very good information. The highlight of this tour was the Gullah presentation...the lady who presented it was amazing. I was hoping for an entire peak at the house which is where my disappoint was. Because of rain we were unable to take the tractor ride around the property also.

We took the Adventure Sightseeing bus from our hotel in downtown Charleston. Wayne was the tour guide. He had loads in facts on Charleston. This was well worth the tour. The plantation tour was very informative and hands on. I would highly recommend this tour.
