From luxurious Boone Hall and gardens to "slave street," we got a sense of the world of plantations. The highlight was the lady who spoke and sang about the Gullahs. We got some information on the bus ride, but the plantation tour was self guided, so you could drive out on your own. We would have liked to have another hour or so to see everything.

I loved the Boone Hall Plantation Tour with Adventure Travel. The plantation tour provided many different informative entertaining activities. The Gullah culture was explained to us in song and story. We were able to tour the house, the slave cabins, and the agricultural area. Adventure Travel transported us to the plantation and back to Charleston, with our guide/driver giving us the history of Charleston in a funny and entertaining way.
