The tour guides were pretty amazing and had a ton of info to give on the sights of Boston. The stops were convenient and we rarely waited for a trolley. Definitely worth the money

We've had great experiences in other cities with the Hop On/Off tours so I did the research when planning a trip to Boston and went with Citiview tours and it cost about $40/person. Although 3 of the 4 drivers/guides were nice and fairly knowledgeable, the "tour" was not worth the $160 I spent. After purchasing these tickets i learned that you were only able to make one roundtrip so instead of having the opportunity to listen to the entire 45 min tour and then figure out which stop we wanted to explore further, we had to get off at each stop and figure it out. Also the tickets did not give you entry into any of the museums or even a discount to their admission which is what the other trolley company offered (Old Town Trolley). Obviously I didnt realize this until i had already purchased these tickets. Lastly, Boston is not nearly as big as some of the other larger cities and so, if you're in relatively decent shape, I would suggest grabbing a map and walking the city yourself or spending far less and taking the guided freedom trail walking tour. My family ended up walking most of the city itself as it was far easier than waiting for the trolley caught in rush hour traffic! If you do decide to walk, just be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

We arrived into South station not sure where to head to and where approached by Paulie and his sidekick who have a stall there.they put us on the trolley buses ,they explained how it works gave maps and awhole lot of ideas where to go and places to eat.every day we came through the station they would take time to see how we were getting on, and have a chat. Two Gents. the Drivers of the trolleys all give different stories and facts as you hop on and off,so its not the same each trip.
