My husband and I were in Boston for the first time and decided to book a hop-on hop-off trolley tour to help us navigate the Freedom Trail. We are so glad we did. We did a full tour with Matty as our guide. This was not our original plan, but Matty was so knowledgeable and presented the information in such a fun way through the first few stops that we wanted to hear his version of the entire tour. I would highly recommend CityView Trolley Tours to orient yourself to some of the best points of interest on the Freedom Trail!

The best narrated tour we have ever taken. Sandy was fantastic as she drove the route, she was extremely knowledgeable and wittingly hilarious. We then jumped back on later in the day after taken the water cruise and we were absolutely pleased to have Jack as our driver/narrator. Again this was by far the best tour we have ever taken.

We attempted to begin at noon but were told that there was a parade in progress and nothing was moving. An hour later we got on the bus. The driver, a funny guy with knowledge about the city, was unable to move through the traffic and couldn’t follow the route. Asked the group on the bus what we thought he should do!! Finally, after 45 minutes, we ended up at the USS Constitution (the 4th stop). He said the trolleys would continue until 3 (it was 2) even though the website said 5 pm. Attempts to get a refund are frustrating.
