We visited over Labor Day weekend, but there was a Parade on the first day of our visit which disrupted trolley tour routes so we decided to wait till the second day to do a tour. We shouldn’t have wasted our time, it took less than an hour to do the route, there was no real “knowledge” imparted from the driver, though he was very nice, and didn’t show us anything we hadn’t seen with a quick walk around the town centre the day before. Maybe ok for getting acclimated on the first day for first timers to Boston. For us first timers, on the second day the trolley was a waste money. As someone who does a bus tour in every new city, this was definitely at the bottom of the pile. I think we would have better off on the other trolley tour, as it had more stops and a better route it seems, or the duck tours as we would have gotten out on the water.

Highlight of our trip to Boston!! Joey was so funny and personable. This is absolutely a cant miss tour but make sure you get him (other driver was grumpy 😬)

We had to wait close to an hour at Boston Common to get on a bus which enabled us to only go around the route only 1 time.
