This is a wonderful way to see Boston. We took the entire tour then doubled back for areas where we wanted to see more. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.

We did the Boston CityView Trolley tour on the Fourth of July. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as waited to board a trolley, making a point to keep us consistently informed about the wait and pickup and drop off stops. Our driver was EJ, who was so much fun. He clearly loves Boston and knows it well. When he realized we’d get a good look at the USS Constitution - which is normally sailing the harbor on July 4th but was docking as we approached that stop - his excitement was palpable and charming. The trolley tour was a great way to see the sites without further torturing our children by forcing them to “walk” using their “feet.”

Our first couple stops we had Matty amour driver. He was awesome. Great driving, great information shared. He even had some good jokes. As for the other 2 drivers, well, they were not so good. The one thought she was doing to the 50 meter dash with a trolley car. The other guy was just kinda boring. Definitely look for Matty if you plan to take the trolley.
