We were counting on using the train anyway but we were surprised that the City View Trolley wasn't a true hop-on and hop-off. It is technically but you can't keep going around if you missed something. You can get off and back on at the same stop but that's it. It also doesn't seem to go very far though we didn't take it until the end because of traffic and time constraints. Other than that the driver was pretty nice and did tell us a bit about the city. We had the trolley included with our GO City Boston card so we could've used it two days but didn't. That was OK since we had many other attractions to see with the card.

This was our first time using CityView, and we were very pleased. We used another company in the past, and this visit was far more user friendly. The buses came by regularly. My group of 20 did have to take two buses at times, but it was still quick and easy. Some drivers were more entertaining than others, and some seemed to know more real history than just the memorized script. But, that's true no matter what. I think they stop the shuttles 1 hour too soon, I would like them to end a bit later. The other improvement they need to make, is the quality of their maps. Finding the stopping points based on their maps is....difficult at best.

Only 9 stops and we had to walk a few blocks to get to most attractions. You only get one trip around. Other companies offer hop on and off more then Once around their loop. Buses were crowded and it was so hot and had to wait 30 mins for a bus because two were to full. Overall go with another company. Best part were the drivers who were funny and engaging!!
