Thomas Collins was an excellent guide! We rode the entire route of the hop on and off tour so we could continue with him. We rode with a couple others also knowledgeable. Worth the cost for information and overview with photo opportunities along the way. Buses run every 10-15 minutes.

We took the tour last Sunday. Our driver, Tom Collins, was outstanding. He could be a standup comedian. Not only did he provide us with the history of Boston, but he did it by telling stories, not just reciting facts. This company is much better than Boston Old Town Trolley which we took the day before. Old Town Trolley has relationships with many of the hotels and as a result is more crowded. We has to wait twice for over an hour to get find a bus that was not full. They did return our money. We have use Hope on Hop off buses all over the world and I can esiely say that CityView Trolley has the best drivers - we experienced two in addition to Tom, all were good Tom was just outtanding. They have my unqualified recommendation.

We have been fortunate to travel to major cities in Europe and ride many hop on hop offs. The City View was THE BEST we have experienced because of our guide Joe!! He was knowledgeable, humorous and thorough about the Bahstun history! We stayed on for a loop and a half and got off to see Faneuil Hall and Quincey Market and then walk to the hotel nearby. We bought tickets on the City View because the old town trolley wasn’t selling tickets for two hrs because it was BUSY and that was 9:45 on a Sat morning. Excuse me... aren’t they in business to sell... Anyway we were VERY happy with our tour with Joe, he made the trip SO enjoyable. If it would make sense when you buy tickets, see if he ‘s working and wait for his trolley... and no I’m not related to him! Enjoy the city.
