In all of the hop on hop off bus tours I’ve taken, this is the 1st one that you cannot take the whole tour and stay on to go see the sites that you were interested in. Here you would have to get off at sites just to get off before seeing if other sites would be more interesting, not really worth the money.

We got to see a lot of historical Boston in a day by taking the Hop-on-Hop-Off trolley tour. We also heard lots of interesting stories about Boston from the drivers. It was very hot the day we did this, so we got off for some things but didn't try to walk too far in the heat. You can't see everything from the trolley, but they get you within walking distance.

We took this tour to see the whole city at our own pace, it worked. The drivers/ tour guides were amazing. There knowledge and love for their city was great. One of the drivers/ tour guide stands out. I do not remeber his name, however he had several jobs among them was an iron worker. He shared with us the fact that his father was also an iron worker who helped build the John Hancock building. He shared a picture with us oh his father sitting on the edge of a beam about 60 floors up. This man loved his city and was informative and had a great sense of humor. I definetly recommend it.
