Tom Collins was the name of the man who did our tour I think and he was AMAZING. He was funny and obviously well rehearsed in the fun facts and history of Boston. We loved being able to hop off of the bus to take a longer look at the sites and get lost in Boston but be able to hop back on and rest for a moment before walking again. Also it was fun for us Idahoans to hear the Boston accent :) bring some cash for a tip. We'd leave a dollar or two if we had stayed on for a couple stops. The wait times weren't long for the bus (every ten minutes) and the price of the tickets was pretty good I think but I didn't purchase them. The bus was for comfortable for me.

This trolley is a great way to see Boston if you don't want to do a lot of walking. We hopped off at the start to see Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, but got back on to go to see the USS Constitution at the Charlestown Navy Yard. Our driver, Hugo was quite a character and had tons of stories an anecdotes about every place we passed. We stayed on to the end with him. It was a fun way to see the city without being exhausted at the end.

The On Off Trolley Tour by Cityview was such a great way to see Boston. I was with my parents and my dad can't walk longer distances so being able to see Boston inside the trolley and then jump off and back on was such a great option. Our original plan was to get off on one of the first few stops but after getting a taste of our tour guide, Tom Collins, I looked back at my parents and said I think we should sit tight and just stay on for a full trip and we were so happy we did. In short, what you get with Tom Collins is a tour guide that is a true Bostonian. So you get your vital history of Boston and all the info that you might receive from any other guide but you also get some unique stories and really good humor from a guy who has lived his whole life here. We have been travelling along the east coast including stops in DC and NYC and have even had a duck tour in Boston the day before but I must say Tom was for sure the most memorable and best guide we had. Give this tour a shot and be on the look out for a bald middle aged white tour guide named Tom. You won't be disappointed. Cheers
