We started this tour at the gold dome state house after buying tickets at the visitors center in The Commons. We had originally planned to do a walking tour, but temps were in the 90’s and this seemed like a better choice, plus for only a few more dollars we got to see so many more areas we wouldn’t have seen! The trolley is open air, but there was a/c running, so it wasn’t cool but it wasn’t sweltering. The drivers all did a good job narrating while we rode around. We were there on a weekday, so we didn’t ever have trouble finding seats for a party of six, as other reviewers did.
