Loved our hop on hop off trolley tour with Uncle Steve. He was informed, funny and very eager to please all on board. Don't think we missed a thing in the city except we knew we weren't going to Fenway Park and we didn't want to - so this was perfect. Great price and pickup location at the wharf. Nobody had any problem getting a seat.

Boston was a port on a recent cruise and this Hop on Hop off tour gave as the perfect option for us to see a broad overview of the city and spend time where wanted. Our driver and tour guide was EJ - he was the BEST. Loved his humor; felt like we were immersed in Boston. EJ provide history, culture, sports info, and a great overview of Boston.

I booked CityView tour based on our excellent experience with the same company in Key West. Unfortunately, CityView Boston was not nearly as good. The stops are not marked in any way (I was told that the city prohibits signage) which made it very, very difficult to figure out where to catch a trolley. We had 3 different guides over the course of the day and none of them were above average. One guide chattered on & on, but spoke very little about the actual sights we were passing or the history of Boston. The second guide had so little personality, he bordered on unpleasant. The third guide was probably the best of the three but spoke so softly that it was very difficult to hear him. The harbor cruise was excellent. The cruise guide, Devin (?), was entertaining and very knowledgeable.
