As said in other reviews - bring cash for tips. This tour really depends on your tour guide. As a hop on/hop off tour we got different drivers each time. 3 really great ones. 1 not so great. The guides that did a great job talked the entire time and had so much knowledge about Boston and made it entertaining. One guide even recommended a restaurant that we tried for dinner and it was excellent. The dud of a guide started speaking once and the people in the back of the trolley were talking so he stopped. He only pointed out one or two buildings between stops and he acted like he was irritated at the people for talking, but then they just continued to talk more since no info was being given on the tour. I would say if you got on a bus with a dud driver, get off on the next stop and wait for the next trolley. They come every 10 minutes and it would definitely be worth the wait.

Great day great tour for the price you can not go wrong. The operators are friendly and very informative.

We used the hop on/hop off over two days to see various locations. Drivers were very informative. With the trolley went to Newbury Street area too.
