Yes, this is a pricey little adventure, but you will get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend very young children or if standing for 15-20 minutes at a time is an issue, then it may not be for you either. It's very interactive so you will be a part of the adventure. You will be able to be on a replica boat and take pictures. You don't actually throw tea off the boat, but there are buoys that mimic the tea and people can toss those overboard. It's super informational and a very modern tour that uses holograms, and actors in costume who are really good. Very well done.

What a great experience to be able to hear about events that lead up to and including the actual "Tea Party" This is great for kids to hear about our history and to actually throw the tea into the harbor. To actually hear the history of the only existing box and then to see it was amazing.

This activity was well worth the money! Our girls (ages 13, 9) gained a much deeper understanding of the BTP and its purpose. When we checked in, the ticket booth even suggested a better time for my mom, who was in a wheelchair. (We only had to wait a few extra minutes). The “tour guides” were never out of character and explained and answered our questions thoroughly! This is definitely an experience/activity families will enjoy! My suggestion is to go early since you do not have to reserve a time when you purchase a ticket. We went on a tour about 11–we were the only ones on the tour! Later in the day, it was much more crowded!!!
