This tour is an excellent interactive and informative tour which includes tourists. Tour guides are very knowledgeable and passionate about the topic. As a teacher I will be taking tips from these tour guides for role play on the Boston Tea Party back to the classroom

I had no idea what to expect but boy was this very well done!! The workers were in period costumes and spoke as if they were alive during that time. They got everyone involved. It was very informative about that part of our american history. Even my 17 year old daughter enjoyed herself!

We really enjoyed this experience which was hard to imagine until you've done it. To say that it's a museum implies that you wander through it at your own speed, but that isn't the way it works. Instead, you enter in groups of a specific size and are each given a name of a person who participated in the original Boston Tea Party. The tour leaders are dressed in period costumes and "recruit you" to be part of the event - all the while explaining the cause and the context. The group then moves from place to place, including one of the ships, the dock, a movie presentation, etc. The overall experience lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes. There's no way to do it faster or slower. If you need to sit down frequently, there are seats in each of the stations along the way. It was really great watching the kids in the group learning about the Revolution. A great attraction for families. Note that there may be a wait when you arrive. Ask your hotel concierge about discounts and so on.
