My fiancée and I went on this tour with Chris and Jayden and it was absolutely wonderful! All of the food was so delicious and accompanied by a piece of history/story. Chris was so nice and never made us feel rushed to get to the next spot. We like to try different drinks so he recommended drinks at each place we stopped at for us to purchase separately. He made sure to include everyone in the group in discussion and even gave us recommendations on where to go after the tour ended. 10000% recommend this tour!

Tour could be better, our guide was knowledgeable and nice, however I feel that the tour was not serving the purpose of having a food tour: 1) being able to cut lines and sample on historic restaurants 2) listening to cultural/historical background of the food while enjoying the ambiance. We did bounce around several different restaurants cause either the space in the restaurant was not available or the food was not ready… one of the restaurants we returned about three times to receive boxes of meatballs to go. Which then later we moved to a different location from the restaurant to consume the food- which was a meatball. There were three meatballs in each box and we get to pass around the box to take out one meatball… additionally out of all the restaurants that we visited we only consumed food in only two places that the food was actually cooked, I’m not referring this as restaurants because one of them was in an indoor market. By any means this is not our guide’s fault, but poor coordination with the restaurant on securing seats and food. I understand that it was a busy evening, but if I were to stand in a line like everyone else, what’s even the point of booking a food tour…? Did you guys even make reservations with the restaurant..? This was rather a baffling experience. I feel bad to say this but unless they make some drastic improvements I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Charlotte. Our team genuinely appreciates your honesty and are saddened that your experience did not meet your expectations. Firstly, we're pleased to hear that you found your assigned guide knowledgeable and hospitable. Our guides are passionate about sharing the rich history and culture of Boston through its food, and it's wonderful that this aspect was positive for you. On the other hand, regarding your concerns about the wait times and availability of seating, we aim to provide a seamless experience where guests can enjoy freshly prepared dishes in historic venues. While most of our partners are aware of our daily visits and accommodate us accordingly, there can occasionally be unforeseen delays or space constraints. Due to the popularity and limited space of some of the stops, there are times when we must join the line. This ensures we maintain a relationship with these iconic spots and continue offering our guests the chance to sample their famous dishes. Nonetheless, our goal will always be to minimize these instances and ensure that our guests have a smooth and enjoyable tour. We also recognize your perspective on enjoying food within our chosen venues. Your understanding of the dynamics that sometimes lead to sidewalk tastings is truly appreciated. These particular stops are designed to immerse our guests fully in the local atmosphere of the city - adding a unique element to the tour. However, we understand that this may not have aligned with your expectations. It's important to us that every guest leaves our tours satisfied, and our team takes your comments positively. We'll review your feedback internally to ensure we continue to improve and deliver exceptional journeys for all our guests. If you’d like to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
