Gabe was our tour guide and was just fantastic. He knew his stuff and seemed to really love what he was doing. He gave us some bonus stops too. Would highly recommend this tour.

Gabriel Graetz is an approachable, knowledgeable guide passionate about food in his city. The Boston North End tour was excellent. The restaurants and vendors clearly knew and loved Gabriel, our tables were ready when we arrived and the delicious food was delivered with friendly service and in a timely manner. So many historical tidbits learned about the city and neighborhood. The tour covered a few blocks so people needn’t be concerned about the distance between locations. Loved this tour and highly recommend Gabriel as a guide.

Overall, my wife and I were disappointed and feel misled. The description of the tour on their site mentions trying a chicken dish, arancini and a secret dish, along with some of the food we did have. None were tasted or even mentioned. Instead we sampled about 5 nuts from a vendor (not one fact about why we had to taste nuts in Boston) and a condiment to-go container of canned baked beans. Our tour guide (Sean D.) was very nice and you can tell he has a love and passion for history and the city of Boston but his energy was monotone leading to some of his stories being dragged out and tough to fully hear. The food that we did have (chowder, lobster roll, pizza and cannoli) was very good but everything was bite sized. for a food tour i expected more food, especially when the description says there was to be more…

We genuinely appreciate your feedback regarding your recent Boston Small-Group Walking Food Tour, Beau. While we regret to learn that certain aspects of our tour didn't meet your expectations, we're pleased that you found the food we did offer to be enjoyable. Our team carefully curated our selections to offer a diverse range of tastes and experiences in Boston, and we typically receive rave reviews for our chosen items - which are meticulously prepared to ensure ample tastings without leaving guests feeling overly full. Additionally, as mentioned on our website, we occasionally accommodate adjustments to cater to the availability and seasonality of certain ingredients and our food partners, but always aim to provide suitable replacements to ensure minimal impact on the tasting aspect of our tours. We do understand your frustration when expectations are not met, and regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Your feedback about Sean is also noted. While his passion for history and the city of Boston is unmistakable, we understand that varying levels of enthusiasm can impact the overall experience. We'll work closely with him to ensure that his delivery remains engaging and conducive to a memorable tour experience for all guests. As a global food tour company with a presence in over 60 cities worldwide, we remain committed to delivering exceptional experiences to guests like yourself across the globe. Thank you again for sharing your comments. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again soon.
