We absolutely loved this food tour. It was a very good experience. Jack was a an absolutely nice and wonderful guide with a deep knowledge of history and fun facts regarding both food and Boston. Food was very tasty. We are very glad to have this experience.

All except for the pizza the food was nice thanks, but no Boston Baked Beans - why not? was advertised.... the pizza was raw I'm afraid and this after waiting in the street, on the corner for such a long time. Our guide was chasing desperately but really not worth the wait - try elsewhere next time. The group was small and fun but our guide too softly spoken I'm afraid that we just couldn't pick up on the history and anecdotes I'm afraid.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your recent Boston food tour experience, Lynne. We’re glad you enjoyed most of the food and had a fun time with the group, but we’re saddened to learn that certain aspects didn’t live up to your expectations. Regarding the Boston Baked Beans, we understand that this was something you were looking forward to. While we aim to showcase a variety of iconic dishes, some menu items may occasionally be adjusted due to ingredient availability or seasonal changes, as noted on our website. We’ll be reviewing this feedback closely to ensure that we’re clearer on any adjustments in the future while continuing to provide an authentic and enjoyable experience. As for the pizza, we strive to serve freshly prepared food at each stop, and this is the first time we’ve received feedback about the pizza being undercooked. We take this very seriously and will be investigating the matter with our food partner to understand what went wrong, as this certainly doesn’t reflect the standard we aim to maintain. Lastly, we’ve taken note of your comments regarding your assigned guide's softly spoken nature. Our guides are dedicated to providing an engaging and informative experience, and we will work with our guides to ensure that their stories and historical insights are clearly heard by all guests, especially in outdoor or busier locations. We greatly value your feedback, Lynne, as it helps us improve our tours for future guests. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back on another tour and give you the top-notch experience you deserve. Thank you again for your review. If you’d like to discuss this further, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].

I liked the history included with the food offerings. I especially liked the lobster roll and walking through the North side.
